Sunspel partners with Iffley Road outdoors-focussed capsule collection

Classic menswear designer Sunspel partners with running brand Iffley Road to create capsule collection

Sunspel, the classic British menswear company, producing clothing worn by Daniel Craig in the latest Bond movies, is heritage brand focused on comfort, quality and innovation. As Summer slowly rolls around the corner, we’re thinking of the activities we can perform outdoors. With this in mind, Sunspel has partnered with Iffley Road for a unique capsule collection of leisurewear.

Iffley Road is a British running-focused brand which takes its name from the track in Oxford where Roger Bannister ran the first sub-four minute mile in 1954. Iffley road is creates gear which looks good and feels comfortable to wear whilst running. Manufactured in Europe from high-quality textiles, with the aim of producing a garment with long-lasting technical performance, Iffley Road uses a bespoke dri-release micro-blend for their short sleeve tops and 100% Merino pique fabric for the cooler months.

For these reasons, it is a perfect mix for a capsule collection of two brands with enormous heritage which merges innovative performance fabrics with a refined aesthetic with a focus on style and comfort. The products mix Iffley Road’s innovative sweat wicking fabrics with Sunspel’s established cotton production.

The small range consists of three styles in various colours. The Langley Colourblock T-shirt (£75/$120), the Stanton Pique Polo shirt (£90/$135) and the Trent Technical Short (£95/$165). All the product names are named after a running route on the Erewash Canal, close to the Sunspel factory.

The range is available now and can be purchased from both the Sunspel and the Iffley Road websites. It is also available in Sunspel stores.
