The Greek islands are getting another boutique hotel, but with a twist. Thomas Cook has opened the second hotel from their Casa Cook Collection, this time in Kos. This is following on from the successful namesake in Rhodes, which we visited last year, and really liked!
Casa Cook Kos is as the name suggests, located on the island of Kos. It is situated on the islands north coast and is set on its own private beach, located between the mountains and the sea. Unlike the adult only Casa Cook Rhodes, Kos is open to families as well.
Designed in a similar bohemian fashion to the Rhodes hotel, the style is minimalistic with simple and stylish interiors. Grey concrete is the main features with wickerwork, much to resemble a traditional Greek village. There is little furniture and the entire hotel is built around sharing experiences with others. So there is a shared pools and gardens between three or four rooms. The highest end rooms include private pools.
There are also other facilities such a spa with a sauna and hammam, there is a great fitness centre as well, much like at Rhodes. There is also a whole host of group activities available such as yoga from the ocean view terrace, horse-riding on the beach and one of our favourites, paddle boarding. Finally, the shared experience is extended to the beach club as well where you can have communal dinners and barbecues.
The hotel opened in the beginning of July, and it is on our list of places to go! To book your visit go to Casa Cook’s website or Booking.com
