There are a few brands you have to admire and one of these is our good friends at Orlebar Brown, arguably the brand responsible for the original idea behind Short Motivation, with our intention of encouraging people to get fit, active and looking good in a pair of shorts.
Orlebar Brown is a brand which is particularly business-savvy and they are the master of the collaboration. A collaboration enables both parties to benefit from the promotion which results increased market awareness. Hot on the heels of a collab with F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo, the latest collaboration is with the Spinning Records DJ, Mike Williams.
Mike Williams started young. At 12 he produced his initial track and his first gig was at 14, in front of 500 people, when most people are thinking of starting a paper round. He became famous through his remixes for the likes of Calvin Harris, before moving on to producing his own music and collaborations with other musicians such as Dastic. Mike Williams is regarded as a pioneer of the future bounce genre, an emerging subgenre of future house music.
The Orlebar Brown x Mike Williams collaboration consists of a single short, which is a rather eye-catching classic Bulldog, using the Mike Williams symbol with a repeated geometric print in tonal blues.
