We’ve had a taste of summer in Britain, but it’s back to being cloudy, overcast, damp and dreary. We’re sure you’ll be busy planning your summer vacation, but have you remembered key essentials such as your swimwear?
Men’s swimwear is a widescale burgeoning market. Whereas there were a handful of brands only a couple of years ago, men’s swim has become mass market and there’s a huge range of different styles, from fitted tailored swim through to wide-cut boardie style drawstring shorts.
Due to a wide range of differing styles, it’s become difficult to figure out which companies were launched to make a quick buck and the companies are determined to launch a top-quality product. At Short Motivation, our quest is to highlight a product range we’d recommend. On a recent trip around California, we were able to test drive the Nomad short from Nicolas Alexander.
Founded in 2016 by Australian couple Nick and Anastasia Schwizer, after giving up everything and heading to Europe with a one-way ticket, the brand is founded on authenticity, quality, ambition and individuality. The short’s from the Modern Nomad SS18 collection are designed as if you’re wearing a tailored pair of trousers but as a short. Nicolas Alexander paid attention to the fit and finish, wanting the best possible fit, but whilst keeping a funky, energetic and fun pattern such as the ‘Mexican’ which is our particular favourite.
There are further shorts due for launch soon, but below are three of our favourite products so far.
Competition! To celebrate the launch of the new Nomad collection, Nicolas Alexander is offering you the chance to win a pair of shorts, towel and Finlay sunglasses, with a total value of £310. To enter the competition, head to the giveaway page – hurry though, the offer competition ends on 3 June 2018!
