There are a few artists which strike a chord, particularly with younger audiences and Jeremyville, now based out of New York, is one of these, voted by the New York Times as one the top 100 illustrators in the world.
One look at the Jeremyville website and it’s easy to see why. Fun designs, patterns and objects most people would buy for their home. Collette, the famous Parisian store collaborated with Jeremyville to produce a limited edition run of screenprints, sculptures and even a 160-page book specifically for the store.
The latest collaboration is with Swedish swimwear brand NIKBEN, better known for their durable drawstring men’s trunks.
The NIKBEN x Jeremyville consists of one swim trunk which is described as a frisky twist on the classic Hawaii short. Using three primary colours of pink, light blue and black, the collaboration short features the iconic Jeremyville bunny character, Jethro.
The trunks are made from a quick-drying 100% polyester, feature two side pockets and a rear velcro-fastening pocket for storing your valuables such as a hotel key or similar. The trunks are available immediately for €159 and ship in a special box with a floatie, set of stickers, character patch & pin
NIKBEN recently launched a range of shirts to complement their swim trunks. These shirts are in two styles. First is a terry towelling polo, available in various colours including cannoli cream, frosty spruce, silver pink, crystal blue and navy. The terry polo shirts retail for €159. There’s also a short sleeve in 100% viscose with various tropical patterns, which reflect the funky nature of the traditional swim trunks. The short sleeve shirts also retail for €159.
As part of the Jeremyville collaboration, NIKBEN has taken the Jethro pattern you can find on the short and transferred this to the short sleeve shirt. Also available for €159, and made in 100% viscose.
Both the collaboration shirt and trunks are limited to 200 pieces.
