We’ve already covered the British running brand Iffley Road and their previous capsule collection with Sunspel. Iffley Road is an activewear brand which we rate highly and it’s worth noting are very careful with who they collaborate.
Iffley Road has partnered with the shoe brand VIVOBAREFOOT to launch a second limited edition capsule. The collection features the classic t-shirt from Iffley Road updated in colours of Night Sky and Track White. The top is produced using Iffley Road’s drirelease micro blend pique (85% performance polyester and 15% cotton), which dries much more quickly than cotton.
Primus Trail running shoe
As it is a collaboration with a footwear company, naturally, there are running shoes included. Iffley Road has redesigned Primus Trail FG and Primus Lite sneakers from VIVOBAREFOOT in order to create trainers which feature Iffley Roads colours and logos. The Primus Trail FG is a trail shoe built for rough running and the Primus light is a very minimal shoe which puts emphasis on your feet, offering a barefoot-like running experience.
Iffley Road co-founders Bill Byrne and Claire Kent offered their opinion on the collaboration, adding “we are delighted to be partnering with VIVOBAREFOOT again to launch this new limited edition collection.
